The Saudi Center for Organ Transplantation is a national center specialized in organizing and developing the provision of organ donation and transplantation services in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It oversees organ donation and transplantation programs and centers.
The center's roles and tasks extend beyond medical services to include awareness and education, promoting a culture of organ donation, and enhancing preventive measures against end-stage organ failure diseases among all community members and healthcare practitioners in the health sectors.
The center was established through a generous initiative by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud – may God protect him – when he was the Governor of the Riyadh region to develop national organ transplantation programs.
