The Saudi Center for Organ Transplantation discusses urological disorders and kidney transplantation in children as part of a series of scientific seminars for 2024.

As part of its 2024 series of seminars and education activities aimed at enhancing knowledge and exchanging expertise among specialists in various fields related to organ transplantation, the Saudi Center for Organ Transplantation announces a scientific webinar on August 27, 2024 (23 Safar 1446) at 6:00 PM Riyadh time. The webinar, titled "Kidney Transplant in Hostile Bladder," will focus on the role of urinary system diseases in kidney failure in children and the challenges associated with kidney transplantation in this age group. The webinar will be moderated by Dr. AlAnoud AlShami and will feature specialists discussing comprehensive pre-transplant assessment for children, with a particular focus on those with bladder dysfunction.
Dr. Fahad AlYami, a Pediatric Urologist and Associate Professor at King Saud University, will discuss kidney transplantation in children and the pretransplant urological evaluation. Additionally, Dr. Abdulmohsen AlFaddagh, a consultant in pediatric urology, will present on kidney transplantation in children with abnormal bladder.
The webinar will last 90 minutes, consisting of two sessions of 35 minutes each, followed by 20 minutes for discussion and exchange of views. Those interested in participating can register via this link.
