The Saudi Center for Organ Transplantation has announced the publication of the first 2026 issue of its scientific journal, Organ Donation and Transplantation (ODT). The journal was officially launched during the World Transplant Congress and represents a specialized global platform dedicated to advancing knowledge in organ donation and transplantation.

This journal is considered one of the first of its kind to comprehensively address organ donation from a scientific and specialized perspective, with the aim of advancing knowledge and promoting excellence in healthcare.

The release of this issue reflects the close oversight of the Director General and underscores the Center’s commitment to maintaining the highest standards of editorial integrity and scientific rigor. Through its publications, the journal seeks to provide a platform for healthcare professionals and researchers to exchange insights, discoveries, and best practices—bridging the gap between research, clinical practice, and policy in this vital field.

On this occasion, the Director General expressed his appreciation to the editorial board, led by Dr. Talia Baker, as well as the publisher and the Center’s team, for their dedication and efforts in producing this work. He also encouraged researchers and specialists to contribute to this initiative and help drive meaningful impact in improving patient outcomes and advancing global knowledge.
