Health facilities
Healthcare facilities applying for accreditation in the field of organ transplantation are required to first complete the accreditation application available on the Saudi Center for Organ Transplantation website.

General rules for applying for accreditation of organ and tissue transplant centers:
- Healthcare facilities must be licensed by the relevant health authorities to operate in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
- Healthcare facilities seeking to obtain a license for one or more organ transplants must apply for a license for each organ/tissue
- independently to ensure compliance with the licensing and accreditation standards for the specific organ transplant program.
- Healthcare facilities seeking to obtain an organ transplant license must pay the accreditation fees.
- The health care facility must be accredited by the Saudi Central Board for Accreditation of Healthcare Institutions (CBAHI).
- The health care facility must have been in operation for at least 12 months to be eligible for a transplant center license.
- The health care facility must meet all the foundational criteria and requirements outlined in the accreditation guide for the specific organ/tissue transplant program.
