The Operational Excellence Department plays a vital role in ensuring continuous improvement in organ donation and transplantation processes. It oversees the implementation of standards and policies across transplant programs and donor hospitals in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in accordance with the Organ Donation Law and its Executive Regulations issued by Royal Decree No. (M/70) dated 19/08/1442H.

 

Duties of the Administration
  • Develop and update policies and procedures related to organ donation and transplantation from both living and deceased donors, in line with best practices.
  • Issue licenses for organ transplant programs and donor hospitals.
  • Monitor compliance with the law, policies, procedures, and national standards for organ donation and transplantation on a regular basis.

About Ms. Bashayer Al-Sahli

Ms. Bashayer Al-Sahli serves as the Director of the Operational Excellence Department at the Saudi Center for Organ Transplantation, where she leads national efforts in policy development and the enhancement of transplant service quality.

Ms. Bashayer has extensive experience in quality management and operational excellence. She actively contributes to national committees and chairs the Center’s Policies and Procedures Committee.
